Generator Rex fanfic

      The Providence Keep floated above a large canyon, smaller Providence aircraft swarming around it like flies.
      Inside, Rex and others looked at a report of a new E.V.O. It was a picture of a boy who looked about a year younger than Rex, with what looked like a swarm of miniscule insects coming from both hands.
      White Knight appeared on the screen. "This is Derek Etum. His E.V.O status was only just brought to our attention. He seems to release large swarms of floating nanites that can break down and consume almost any substance." He sounded sick. "He's been reported in New Jersey, breaking into banks with his nanites."
      Rex folded his arms. "So, what? I move in and shut him down?"
      "If you can." White Knight replied. "He's taken down fifiteen Providence squads, and continually evades our detection."
      Agent Six stepped forward. "Come on kid. We've found him."
      Rex started off. "See ya, Knight."
      "Wait." Knight interupted. "The perameters of this mission are tight. Doctor Holliday wants Ecum contained, for study."
      "It's cool." Rex said. "No problem."

      In New Jersey, a kid with a hoodie stepped toward a bank wall. He lifted a hand, and a swarm off pirahna-like nanites flowed out. They converged on the wall with a mettalic buzzing sound, and the section of the wall simply dissapeared under the swarm.
      Derek stepped through the hole as alarms sounded, his nanites eating a tunnel to the vault.

      High above, Rex looked down at the city.
      "You ready?" Bobo slid a laser pistol into his backpack.
      "Oh, yeah." Wearing a mischievious smile, Rex slid on his goggles, activated his boogie pack and soared out the doors.

      Rex landed outside of the bank, which had been evacuated. Providence troopers surrounded the building, their guns leveled.
      A nanite swarm suddenly shot out, crashing into the troops like a solid wall. Derek hovered within the swarm, suspended by his minions.
     Rex settled into an offensive pose as his boogie pack slid into his back.
     Derek looked at Rex, and his swarm moved toward Rex.
     A sly smile slid onto Rex's face as his smackhands generated. His huge fist shot out and decimated a good deal of the swarm.
     Six landed behind Rex, and Rex turned to him. "This is easy Six!" One of the smackhands swung around, destroying more of the swarm.
     Six leaped out of the way as the swarm started eating the edges of Rex's smackhands.
     "Hey! Get off!" Rex shook the hand around in an attempt to lose the swarm.
     "Rex," Doc Holliday said over his earbud "Don't let the nanites get to your skin. Your machines are expendible; your not."
     Rex let his eaten smackhand fall apart, crushing some of the countless horde. He took a step back, his remaining smackhand poised for a punch. "What do I do, Six?"
     "Cure him." was Six's simple reply.
     Rex charged forward, and used his giant hand to vault himself over the swarm. As he flew, there was a metalic click from within his smackhand, and it began to spin.
     Rex used it to simotaniously destroy the nanites and shake them off. He finnaly broke through the swarm, and laid a hand on Dereks chest. There was a mechanical hum, and blue lines spread across the opposing E.V.O's chest. The lines disapeared, and Rex stepped back in shock. "There's nothing to cure!" He cried. Rex looked at the incoming swarm. "Oh. Duh."
